Second through Fifth Grade children meet in the Fireside Room during the Second Service (10:30 AM) for Kids' Praise and Prayer.

The children of Kids' Praise and Prayer are diving deep into who God is with the "Belonging to God: A First Catechism". Each week, the children learn a Catechism question and answer while memorizing a Key Verse from the Scriptures.

Examples of these Catechism questions, answers and verses are as follows:

Q: What is special about human beings?

A: God made us, male and female, in the image of God. 

Key Verse: “So God created humankind in His image, in the image of God He created them:  male and female He created them.”  Genesis 1:27

Q: Who are you?

A: I am a child a God.

Key Verse: “See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God."
1 John 3:1

Q: What does it mean to be a child a God?

A: That I belong to God, who loves me.
