Alpha
Good food...
Honest Questions...
Intelligent Conversation...

Alpha is an eleven-week course that explores questions related to the reality of Jesus and the implications of a decision to follow him.

Can Jesus really provide...

  • answers to my deepest questions?
  • a way to make sense of this chaotic world?
  • a community where I can belong?
  • a purpose with which my life can make a difference?

What is unique about the Alpha Course?

  • Atmosphere—warm and open hospitality, humor, and great meals!
  • Intelligence—thoughtful presentations by Nicky Gumbel, an Anglican vicar from London (former atheist, trained in law at Cambridge, theology at Oxford)
  • Conversations with friends—honest, supportive group discussion, free of “pat answers”
  • Connecting with God—a weekend away from the rush of life where you can experience the presence of God.

 Who attends Alpha?

  • Those who don’t normally attend church
  • Those who have had bits and pieces of religion, but long for a more solid foundation upon which to build a life of faith
  • Those who are returning to the Christian Faith after being away for awhile
  • Those who are suspicious of churches and Christians, but want to explore Jesus and the Bible firsthand
